A Day on the Job Keeping Homes Comfortable and Safe


Early Morning Preparations

My day at T-Mark Plumbing, Heating & Cooling begins before sunrise. Like many service technicians in the field, I arrive at our shop by 6:30 AM to review the day’s service calls and load up my truck with essential supplies and parts.

Morning Service Calls

The first stops typically involve heating and cooling system maintenance. Today’s schedule includes:
• Performing a seasonal HVAC inspection
• Replacing an aging thermostat
• Diagnosing an electrical issue in a basement

Afternoon Challenges

After lunch, emergency calls often come in. Today, I’m helping homeowners with:
• A malfunctioning water heater
• An AC system that needs refrigerant
• Electrical panel upgrades

Customer Education

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is educating customers about their home systems. I take time to explain:
• Proper maintenance schedules
• Energy-saving tips
• Warning signs of potential issues

End of Day

Before heading home, I complete service reports, restock my truck, and prepare for tomorrow’s calls. It’s satisfying knowing that each day, we help keep our community’s homes comfortable and functioning properly.
